Eyeballs to Phone Calls – Marketing Statistics Argue for Visual Content

I recently ran across this great Marketing Infographic via Webdam.com that offers some pretty surprising marketing statistics for 2014, especially with regard to visual content.  For instance:

  • 65% of your audience are visual learners.
  • 73% of reporters think that press releases should contain images.
  • videos on landing pages increase conversions by 86%
  • visual data is processed 60,000 times faster by the brain than text.

Getting the picture (so to speak)?  If your online marketing efforts don’t include photos, videos, or graphics, then your firm might be losing out on the chance to convert eyeballs to phone calls.  As I’ve always told my clients, you can’t talk a portfolio!

There are some other pretty interesting statistics offered up here as well, so have a look.  And thanks to the folks at webDAM.com for sharing their expertise.
