Back to Photographing Residential Architecture

I had the great pleasure of photographing a neighbor’s kitchen and dining room interior remodel a few weeks ago. She works as a buyer for a large department store chain and has a great sense of style — which carries over in to her interior design as well. All the choices of finishes, from paint and stain colors, to wallpaper, to those awesome light fixtures, are her hard work.
Although I’ve been shooting more commercial architectural photography here in Seattle lately, residential architecture projects are still some of my favorites. Howeowners have worked for so long, and put up with so much, to get to the end and they’re always are so excited to show it off. The excitement is contagious! Thanks to the neighbors for letting me invade your space for a day!
