Before starting in architectural photography, I had a first career in hospitality that I enjoyed but left it in 1995 to pursue my dream, returned to school, and soon began photographing professionally. Early experience photographing travel stories and environmental portraiture then led to corporate work and some annual reports, but I soon realized that every trip I took, every job I loved most, every image I found most compelling, nearly always involved interesting physical structures, the light that permeates them, and the spaces that surround them.
